Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Hillforts Map at https://hillfortsmap.co.uk/, published by Hillforts Map. The privacy policy and cookie policy sit alongside them. Privacy questions can go to privacy@hillfortsmap.co.uk.
Disclaimer
The maps, directories, and site pages are provided as-is. Hillforts Map cannot guarantee that names, locations, condition, access, or any other detail is accurate, complete, or up to date. Records can be wrong or out of date. Check an authoritative source before you rely on a page.
Nothing on this site grants any right of access to a hillfort, a monument, or the land it stands on. Many sites are on private land or are scheduled monuments. Any right to visit comes from the landowner and from the law, not from this website. A coordinate is a guide to the recorded location, not permission to cross land.
Visits are at your own risk. To the extent UK law allows, Hillforts Map is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site or from a visit to a place mentioned on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Visiting
Check access before you travel. Keep to public rights of way and other land you are allowed to use, follow signs, and do not disturb the earthworks.
